The discussion also covered criteria for selecting communities for project implementation, as well as risk management and insurance issues.
City One Development underscored the importance of sustainable development. In partnership with Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, the company has launched a training program to prepare professionals for the glass manufacturing industry, helping ensure the sector’s future workforce.
Oleksandr Lakei, Head of Industrial Investment Project Development at City One Development, stated:
“Glass is more than just a material. It is a strategic resource that enables import substitution, supports domestic production, and creates added value. By investing in the development of Ukrainian industry, we are not only building factories — we are laying the foundation for the country’s economic recovery. Our goal is to ensure that by 2027, Ukraine will have its own production of high-quality glass.”
